Dr. Ralf Quirin is an experienced dentist and specialist in oral surgery and periodontology in Freiburg. He studied dentistry from 1981 to 1986 at the University of Marburg and received his license as a dentist in 1986. From 1986 to 1989, he worked as a research assistant at the Ulm University Dental Clinic under the direction of Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Sitzmann, where he completed his continuing education as a specialist dentist in oral surgery. In 1989, he received his doctorate in dentistry with the “magna cum laude” award.
After completing his doctorate, Dr. Quirin gained further practical experience as an assistant in the periodontology and implantology practice with Dr. Wolfgang Wünsche and Dr. Wolfgang Lang in Stuttgart. In 1990, he was recognized as a specialist in oral surgery by the Baden-Württemberg State Chamber of Dentists. One year later, in 1991, he founded his own practice for implantology and periodontology in Freiburg.
In 2016, Dr. Quirin entered into a partnership with Dr. Stefan Schultheis, as a result of which the practice operates under the name “Dr. Ralf Quirin, Dr. Stefan Schultheis — Practice for Dentistry.”
1999: Award of the focus on implantology by the Professional Association of Implantological Dentists (BDiZ).
2000: Appointment as specialist in periodontology by the German Society of Periodontology (DGParo).
2006, 2013 and 2020: Recertifications as a specialist in periodontology (DGParo), which underline his ongoing expertise in this area.
