Dental veneers make sense if you are no longer satisfied with the appearance of your natural teeth. You have no restrictions when chewing, speaking and eating, but you do not like the appearance of your teeth. Dental veneers allow you to permanently change the appearance of your teeth with relatively little effort.

Use of veneers
Before we treat you with dental veneers, feel free to take another look in the mirror - no comparison to afterwards!
In just a few steps, Dr. Stefan Schultheis performs treatment with veneers in the Q dental practice:
- Diagnostic appointment: First, we take photos and videos, take impressions and perform measurements. Especially with veneers, precise planning in advance is important to guarantee a result that is exactly right for you.
- Preparation and impression: We then prepare your teeth for the restoration with veneers. This requires hardly any pretreatment of the tooth, so its substance is almost completely preserved. After preparation, we take an impression, which we send to our in-house dental laboratory. In most cases, we can already work completely digitally with intraoral scanners. A cumbersome impression is then no longer necessary.
- Connecting the veneers to the teeth: Every single veneer is made by hand. In the meantime, we provide the pre-treated teeth with a perfect temporary restoration that no one will notice. Finally, we permanently bond the veneers to the tooth using a special bonding technique.

Using Digital Smile DesignTM software, we are able to design the new shape and proportions of your teeth together on the computer - until you are satisfied with your new smile!
DURABILITY
Plastic vs ceramic
We recommend that you choose all-ceramic veneers because they are more durable and retain their color for a long time. Veneers made of composite are clearly at a disadvantage here.

- optically natural
- Particularly break resistant
- Suitable for allergy sufferers
- Long color fast
- Thermally conductive like a natural tooth
