Luisa F. I find it very important that you are supported and encouraged here as a young person from the very beginning. Advanced training and continuing education are made possible, and overall I have the feeling that my personal development is very important to the dentists. In addition, we also get along very well with each other as a team. That is certainly not the case everywhere - but it is very important for me and my colleagues! Because if I don't feel comfortable in my job, I can't perform to my full potential. Of course, it's sometimes stressful, but we can't change that. What we can influence, however, is the way we deal with each other. And that is very positive here!

What should your new team member bring to the table to feel comfortable in the practice?

Luisa F. The most important thing is that the new colleague really wants to do the job. We are not a very large practice, so everyone has to pitch in and contribute. Our great strength is our team spirit. Everyone supports each other. Especially at the beginning, the processes are not yet 100 percent perfect. Then it helps to ask, ask, ask. We lend a hand to anyone who wants it. But it won't work without initiative, motivation and independent work. Of course, this also includes taking time out of working hours for a team outing. We do this every few months - and it's very important to us!

What tips do you have for the application - what do dentists particularly value?

Luisa F. Be creative and stand out from the crowd. Show dentists why you want to work at this practice in particular! Your resume doesn't have to be perfect. Make it clear who you are and what you can do. Small tip: Take a close look at the website beforehand and score points with background knowledge. And finally, the most important tip: Just be yourself! That always comes across best.
